Q: Can I return or exchange my purchase?

All swords sold on our website are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
🔺 Returns and exchanges are strictly not accepted after purchase.
🔺 Why? When exporting a Japanese sword, its Gun & Sword Registration Certificate (銃砲刀剣類登録証) must be surrendered to the authorities.
🔺 Once a sword is exported, it cannot be re-imported to Japan for registration renewal.

Q: What procedures are required after purchasing a Japanese sword to have it delivered to my country?
A: Verification of the registration certificate, approval and export permission from the Agency for Cultural Affairs, packaging and customs procedures, and arranging international shipping are required.
Q: How long does it take from purchasing a Japanese sword to its delivery?
On average, shipping takes about 6 months.
1️⃣ We first need to obtain government approval and return the registration certificate. This process takes several months.
2️⃣ Once approved, we ship the katana immediately.
3️⃣ Delays may occur due to international regulations, weather, or customs clearance.
For this reason, please allow at least 6 months for delivery.
Q: Does insurance cover my order?
We take great care in packaging and shipping; however, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents or issues that occur during transit.

✅ If your package is lost or damaged during shipping, you may receive compensation through EMS insurance.
❌ It is impossible to reorder the same item, as each sword is one-of-a-kind.
❌ Compensation cannot exceed the purchase price.

We currently ship to the United States, Australia, Germany, and Canada, where katana imports are permitted.
